In the wake of the first GOP debate last night, I have only one thing to say: Learn how to smile! Look at this picture of all the candidates on stage together. Each and every smile on that stage is forced. For such smooth talkers, you would think that they would be able to fake a smile a little bit better than that. I have to say the Democrats at least looked semi-natural in their group picture, but the Republicans look this is the first time they have ever tried to put on their happy face! I’ll admit, I am a bit disillusioned by politicians at the moment, but this picture actually had me laughing out loud.

This is my new weekly photo post that was inspired by ilker at the Thinking Blog. Someday this will eventually be a photo taken by me, but until then, I will pick out photos that I think reflect my life at that particular moment in time. This week’s picture is of a penguin overwhelmed by baby penguins, which is exactly how I feel: Overwhelmed. It’s finals week here at Penn State and I am desperately trying to load all of the semester’s information into my head while still keeping everyone happy. This picture came from National Geographic, which always has great pictures.
